Personality Traits
(d6):
- I feel as though I am in debt to my family as they supported me through the tough years. I constantly am trying to help others through tough times.
- Although battle has scarred me physically, mentally no one is tougher. Choose a battle scar that may be the cause of one of your low ability scores (example: two of your twos or fingers were chopped off which is why my dexerity is only 10)
- Due to my father and mother being killed during the war I have been left an orphan. I raised my youngest brother until he was also eventual killed, I am the only one left
- After my older sister became the target of raiding soldiers, I swore to never let something like that happen to someone I love.
- As a boy when I was coming home one day from work, I was captured by enemy soldiers of a specific race (choose a specific race), and sold into slavery. I eventually escaped but I have never forgiven them or their race.
- I am physically fit due to the amount of fighting I have done throughout my life, however the constant turmoil has left me mentally scarred. I am constantly looking for the reason why I was the one affected in this way, which when not finding answers only causes more mental anguish
Ideals (d6):
- Aspiration. I aspire to be like the great soldiers of the war that saved my life on multiple occasions (Neutral)
- Revenge. I will crush those that wronged me and my family. Whatever it takes. Why stop there? (Evil)
- Enforce. I will help enforce the law that has been established through the results of this war because I know that with these another war can be prevented. (Lawful)
- Anarchy. Politics and law started the war there is no place for either in this world (Chaotic)
- Fair Work. Through hard work and dedication comes the greatest reward, whether that reward be freedom, knowledge, or the ability to help others. (Good)
- Nation. My fellow countrymen are all that matter to me (Any)
Bonds (d6):
- I will do whatever it takes to protect those who have protected me
- I will never loose the petrified toe I took as a souvenir from the cold dead corpse of an enemy soldier who once tried to abduct me.
- I have many close friends who grew up in similar circumstances with. We will always look out for each other.
- My fathers weapon (any simple weapon), has never steered me wrong, and it likes blood as much as I do.
- I mourn the memory of a loved one (girlfriend/boyfriend, mother/father, brother/sister) killed in the war, he/she will always be in my heart.
- Throughout my life I have always done things alone and only relied on my instinct this is all I need
Flaws (d6):
- Whenever I hear loud noises, I must lash out at the closest thing whether that be living or not. This is a gut reaction to the horrors I faced
- I am known throughout my hometown as the deserter. They hate me for it.
- When faced with a tough decision I always state this is a tough decision, then wait for someone to make it for me.
- During the war I betrayed my people and many died as a result, now I must live with their ghost haunting my dreams
- Because I believe I am so good at conflict resolution, I seek out conflict and may even reate some to try to hone my skills
- No one know the troubles I have seen, nobody knows the pain. And you make sure everyone knows about it, no one can complain quite like you
